1) Well Done is a game about cooking hamburgers for yourself on a pan. The aliens and shaky camera are a m e t a p h o r about being tired, because I chose this idea for the numerous times I've been tired or had a headache and have needed to cook a garbage hamburger on the pan and eat it at 2am. The lack of hamburger bun is an authorial choice.

In the game players must not burn the burger while collecting floating green points to enhance your score. Playing well means collecting as many points as possible before the burger begins burning. When players are done, they place the burger on a pan to submit their score.

2) The process of making this game was a fun time, because I've mostly worked on numerically intricate games like RPG systems and narrative before, but this class so far (including this project) have been very physics heavy games that rely on game feel over complexity. Turns out it's pretty fun making a good pan controller to casually flip a flat cylinder with.

The worst part of making this game was correcting and solidfying the game's physics-heavy interactions. Burgers falling through pans, pans teleporting, plates self-deleting. Fixing physics problems feels like throwing darts while blind.

The decision I'm happiest about making was making the burger flip force apply directly to the burger instead of the pan, because while the pan moving would've been more 'realistic' it would've been real fucky on physics bugs.
